Hi all,
My husband is allergic to his wedding band. I gave him Tungsten Carbide with Carbon Fiber Inlay ring that he picked out. Even though Tungsten is supposed to be hypo-allergenic, it does have trace amounts of nickel in the bonding agent. Hubby has a scar now from the ring - looks like the ring burned into his skin.
We have decided to try Titanium. It is a metal that is nickel-free and more affordable. The other option would be to get a Palladium ring, but he likes the more modern look of the black Titanium.
We purchased the ring from e-weddingbands.com. They have been really helpful. The thing is, he doesn't really like any of the styles on that site as much. He found one at the mall from (gasp) Zales. What should I do? Should I exchange his current band and get this one from e-wedding bands:

OR should I get the new band he likes at Zales?

Please let me know what you think. I am also open to other options. On another note, e-weddingbands will allow us to exchange with no penalties, but if we choose to return the ring and buy elsewhere, there will be a 40% restocking fee.
