ahh, head spinning need some advice on E ring

I have been looking now for about two months and it has come down to the wire. I would really like to propose at Christmas, but now I am running out of time. I have been lurking for a bit and looking at everyone''s suggested vendors (wf,gog,ni) inventories online and at my local B&Ms (of which there are very very few). No one seems to have both the setting and the diamond I want. I fear I am running out of time to make this happen. I am very worried about ordering a setting from one vendor, the stone from another and relying on a third local B&M shop to make it all work and be on time.

I am pretty solid on what I am looking for, I just have not been able to find it. The specs I am trying to hit are Asscher cut 1.5 -> 2.0, VVS2 or better, G color or better, platinum Halo setting (because of the amazing pics I have seen here), in the $14k range. Any suggestions on an online retailer I may have missed, or who may have what I am looking for? Do you think my timeframe of Christmas is still attainable?

ya, it is going to be difficult with those specs and the time constraint. You should have just call one vendor earlier and ask them to source it for you.

Drop the clarity constraint to VS1/2 and might be achievable.

I have just started looking at this type of cut so I can sympathize with the difficulty of finding one to fit criteria. Definitely something that can''t (or should NOT be) rushed.

If not Christmas there is always new years eve and valentines day
