for an AGS ideal cut 1.51ct diamond, Vs2 - how noticeable is the difference in the color grade if both have an HCA score of ~1.0

the difference in price is $1200 - I was wondering if it is worth the difference once it is in the platinum setting?

It depends on the actual diamonds in question. I would personally ask the vendor to compare the two and comment on color. These are from BGD? (I stalk their diamonds so I know what is there...

). Brian is honest and very good at judging color. Ask him what he thinks.
