Hi Everyone. I found these AGS Girdle percentages on the forum. Do these percentages apply to princess cuts or just round? I´m looking for an ideal princess.

.091% - 0.50% Very thin
0.51% - 1.20% Thin
1.21% - 1.70% Medium
1.71% - 2.95% Slightly thick
2.96% - 4.20% Thick
4.21% - 5.70% Very thick
>= 5.71 % Extremely Thick

Hi Trent. That is a pre-2005 chart which applied only to rounds & only pertained to avg thicknesses at scallops & valleys.

When AGS introduced round and fancy shape performance grading in 2005 they switched to measuring at thinnest & thickest places anywhere on the girdle. That changed the charts.

Here is their current chart which applies to all shapes; straight-edged and scalloped.

I´m a bit dense when it comes to numbers. greater than less than. Makes me crazy! What girdle would this be 1.5%-1.6%?
