AGS and GIA grades

Would it be correct to say that an AGS ideal polish /ideal symmetry/ideal proportions would be that same as a "Excellent" on a GIA cert.

Virtually the same grade. Sometimes the two labs vary a tiny bit, but we''d never notice.....

Slight correction - GIA and AGS are similar for sym/polish - but GIA do not grade proportions, and AGS are only doing a 1/2 good job at it now - but both will do better next year
