If a stone''s GIA report says "thick" not a range, just thick is that a 1B or 2A? Thanks

It would be a "1B" under the (old) AGA grading system, if the crown and pavilion angles remained within 1A parameters.

If they fell out of those parameters, the grade could drop to 2A (or lower).

Old cut grading system, but still pretty good for weeding out poor performers.
