...I can finally say "Please remove me from the list" as I am an engaged lady as of Tuesday evening.
It was just low-key and very "us." He picked me up from work and asked if I wanted to go to one of our favorite restaurants to eat. I said sure (and we eat out all the time so I didn''t think anything of it!).
So anyway, I''d known he had the diamond for a few weeks, so at dinner I was teasing him about whether he''d gotten it set yet, and that my finger was feeling too light and empty
All of a sudden, he starts going into his coat pocket and says "Well, I just happen to have this box hanging around" and takes out the box and puts it in front of me
I started giggling (and the giggling still hasn''t stopped
), he teased me about the box being just an empty box, I continued giggling (
), he teased me some more, and then he asked me to marry him, to which I of course said YES!!! He''d just gotten the diamond set that day and didn''t want to wait any longer
I am having trouble resizing the pic I have but will post it as soon as I can!
