Hi everyone,

I am based in Australia and am looking to get a round brilliant diamond purchased through a jeweler which imports their stones. After some searching, the jeweler has put forward the following stone which satisfies all my criteria:

My only concerns are:

1. The indented natural inclusion
2. No idealscope/ASET image

Is there anything to be concerned about regarding this stone? Are the dimensions/inclusions okay?

Thanks in advance!

The numbers coupled with the image look promising to me. I wouldn't have any concerns at all about an indented natural on a VS1 stone. If the jeweler has a return policy I think it is worth a look.

I normally shy away from indented naturals near or on the girdle, but with this particular stone being a VS1 and the inclusion being listed last on the inclusion chart I doubt it would have any significant or even slight impact on the stones durability. However, I am not an expert, but an enthusiastic hobbyist.

Thanks for the responses, I think this may be the one!

It was hard to find a stone with similar specifications within my price range, even less so when it came to HCA < 2. Think I should be able to hide the indented natural with one of the prongs when it is set.
