Hi everybody,

please help with this D VS2 stone, the angle seems ok despite being a little deep 62.2%. but it has 2 feathers on edge of table, bezel and star facets. Being a VS it should not be visible with magnification right?

also, is it a general rule that VS2 feather should post no durability problem?

Thanks in advance~~~

the numbers are good. HCA score = 1.3 ex ex ex vg

with VS2, you might see it under 10x, but not with your naked eyes. I don''t think you should be worried about a feather in VS2.

thanks beez~

1 more question: Genrally speaking, would a 62.2% deep stone be a bit dark in the centre under the table, or should it still be fine as long as it rates good on HCA?

Cheers!

The depth is fine and shouldn't pose any problems, the angle range appears to be good so thats more important for performance, in order to get any more info on the diamond an Idealscope image would be useful if you can get one. VS feathers aren't normally an issue but its best to ask an expert to check for you and to make sure the feathers can't be seen.

ditto Lorelei!

ASET or IS pic would be good. Of course it would be best to see that in person. :)
