I''ve recently been lurking in the coloured stones forum and I am in

with all of these gorgeous gems in LOGR settings! WOW!!!! I came across this ebay seller and I am hoping I can get some advice on whether or not these are legitimate purchases and your general feedback on whether or not they''re decent stones. The seller has great feedback and you can''t beat the prices! Here are the 3 stones I''m looking at:

Orange Tourmaline Oval: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260303687906

Orange-Pink tourmaline Round: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=270291040730

Green Tourmaline Pear: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260304172536

TIA!!!

hmmm...I guess a lack of response means that if it sounds like it''s too good to be true than it really is! Maybe someone can at least recommend a well-known ebay seller (or any other vendor) that sells gemstones? I''m partial to orange and green coloured stones...

Thanks!

It's still early so many of us are only now checking into PS.

Stone 1: Champagne is a nicer word for brown. So essentially, the stone is orangy brown. Not a good colour unless it's something you like personally.
Stone 2: Described as round but it's really an odd shape. It's very off round. Extremely off round.
Stone 3: Colour looks pleasant but the pear is so fat that I'm 100% sure it will not fit into a standard setting. It will need a custom setting.

Here is a link to tons of reputable coloured gemstone vendors.
