Advice on marquise vs round in a particular setting...w/pics

Hello,

I would like opinions on a setting with a round vs. a marquise. I like the way the setting looks with a round, but my girlfriend LOVES marquise diamonds. Would this setting look okay with a marquise? If not, I am also attaching another picture of possible settings that she would like. Opinions on those are welcome, too!

I think all four settings would be beautiful with a marquise stone.

I love the Ritani, have you checked with them to see if they can make this setting for a marquise?

I'm thinking the other rings have peg head mountings, which can easily be changed by a jeweler.

Thank you! Yes, I have checked, and the Ritani can be made to fit a marquise. However, I am just not sure how it will look seeing as how they have it shown with a round.

I am attaching a few more pics for reference. Would the round look better or the marquise?

That setting would look stunning with a marquise!! It's a beautiful setting I don't think you can go wrong there in my opinion

If she wants a marquise, you have your answer! It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

I think its a lovely setting and would be beautiful with a marquise. Of course the whole basket area would have to change. Ask ratini
if they have another ring set with a marquise that would show an example of how the new basket (gallery) would look or do they
