Hi all! I've been researching e-rings for a little while now and would like your input on the diamond I've chosen.

The setting I've chosen is the Legato Sleek Line Pave in White gold: http://www.whiteflash.com/engagement-rings/diamond-settings/legato-sleek-line-pave-diamond-engagement-ring-422.htm

The diamond is here: http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2978550.htm

The ideal-scope and aset images look good to my amateur eyes and the only slight reservation I have is the H color. I'm hoping that the cut of this stone will make it appear whiter than it is but I also read that AGS is "looser" in their color grading. There is a stone also from WF that is ES around the same price point but is F color. However, it seems to me the images on this one is not as nice (slightly more leakage etc) and also is not ACA. Also, this second one scored 3.5 on HCA but I was advised by the very helpful rep @ WF that the images would be a better tool to use than the HCA in this case since the latter is hypothetical. She also said visually, the stones will be very very similar.

So what do you think? Would the H color be a non-issue for a ACA under 1ct?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

You really can't go wrong with an ACA! And an ideal cut stone will face up larger and whiter almost all of the time compared to less well cut stones. I have several G's, a D and a J, and based on my experience with all of them, I think an H is just fine. :)

Great thanks for your input! :D

I have H color ACA diamond stud earrings, and they face up nice and white! I think the H stone is better than the other. And I love that setting! Great choice! :appl:

I would get the ACA
