Low clarity and low color. SI1 and lower may have visible inclusions to the eye.

Can you post some pictures of the stone OP?

Please be aware that there is no such thing as a good deal 99.8% of the time... and although I am all about hoping you land one of the .02% deals, I sincerely doubt it. If you want to spend $300 chasing this, and it feels worth it to you to satisfy your curiosity, do it - but don't buy this stone before you get the GIA grading back.

I am not a risk taker at all, but I'd bet my house on that stone not coming back with the same grading by GIA. My advice to you is to tell the vendor that you want HIM to send the stone to GIA to prove that it is the same, and if it comes back graded the same as EGL, you'll buy it and pay for the GIA report. If it comes back lower, you walk.

That will all be a waste of time, but it will prove a point. You get what you pay for when buying retail.
i'll throw in my underwear along with DS's house...

Add one of my cats too. No way.
