Advice on .90 ct James Allen diamond

I'm looking to replace an engagement ring that I lost when I got married. Can someone give me their thoughts on the attached diamond from James Allen? Also, is there some other jeweler that I should check out. My budget is approx $5,000 including the setting. Thanks.

You need to request a copy of the lab report from James Allen (they don’t inc them in their listings), but just based on the photo and video it does not appear to be a very well cut diamond that would be recommended here on PS.

Do you have the lab report? I don't particularly like how this one looks, but the lab report will help.

That’s a hard pass. G VS2 is a great starting point though. Ask for lab reports and use the HCA tool like kaycee2018 said or even easier use the price scope diamond search tool and look through the choices there. You’ll have to scroll down a bit to find the JA selections. Choose one that rates EX on the HCA column then post what you like and we can give you more feedback.
