Advice needed please -- not sure if I need a spacer

Hi all,

I just received a new pave anniversary ring and am wondering if I need to wear a thin spacer band between the new pave anniversary band and my shared prong wedding ring. I already wear a 1mm spacer ring between my shared prong wedding ring and my engagement ring, since I had read that shared prong diamonds are prone to "eating" the prongs of engagement rings.

When I wear the new pave ring, it doesn't seem to sit directly flush against the shared prong wedding ring (rather, there is the slightest thin gap between them), so I'm not sure if a spacer is needed or not. I'm also not sure how the shared prong ring will affect the pave ring.

In my photo, the new pave ring is at the bottom of my finger whereas my shared prong wedding ring is in the middle.

Ideally I would love to not have to wear a spacer between the pave band and wedding ring for a more seamless look, but at the same time I want to protect the diamonds of course.

I'd really appreciate your advice, thanks so much! (I've looked at a bunch of threads online about spacers but the ones I've found are regarding protecting an engagement ring vs. other wedding/eternity rings.)

Ah, sorry about that, thank you for pointing that out!

Can you post a profile shot? Like this, so we can see where the diamond girdles are?

Thank you both! Sorry for the delay, I've attached several pictures of the anniversary band (pave) & wedding band (shared prong). Close-up, it really does look like there is the slightest gap between the two rings so I'm not sure if a spacer is needed?

Many thanks for your help and advice!

Bumping this, would love if anyone could please give me advice here on whether or not a spacer is needed for these two wedding bands. Thanks!

Those two bands look fine to wear without a spacer. Were you planning to pair (trio) them with a solitaire? You might need a spacer against the band with the larger stones because of the way the girdles overhang the metal a smidge.

I would wear the thinner/lower pave band next to your ering, a 1mm spacer (Etsy or jewelers can get one from Stuller), then your thicker/higher shared prong band. Your pave band looks low enough to clear your prongs from here (could be wrong though).

This is what a 1mm spacer looks like next to a shared prong band.
My shared prong eternity band is made up of asschers.

Thanks so much, ringo865! I was hoping to wear the bands together along with my engagement ring like the first picture I included in the thread that show all of them together (in the order that it's in the picture). How I am currently wearing them is I have a thin 1mm spacer between my engagement ring and the shared prong band (the one w/ the larger stones), and then the pave band (the lower one/smaller stones) is directly underneath the shared prong band.

If I'm wearing the three of them like this, do you think I'll need a spacer between the wedding bands themselves? Thank you again!

Thank you very much cflutist! Your rings are beautiful btw. I was hoping to wear my rings stacked like in the first photo I attached in the thread, if possible (engagement ring, then 1mm spacer, then the two wedding bands below). Do you think I'd need a spacer between the two wedding bands if worn in that order? Thank you!

It seems the prongs keep the diamonds from touching, so you don't need to wear a spacer between the two diamond bands. I would still wear it between engagement ring and the shared prong band.
