I found this 2.012 K SI1 round brilliant that seems to be well cut and with a strong light return.
Basically, after hours of reading on the subject, I have come to the conclusion that, having set my budget, excellent cut and light performance are mandatory.

The diamond is meant for a yellow gold ring setting.
The asking price is $10,500.

Any advice you could give would be much appreciated.

So not top of the line but looks pretty good IMO especially for hitting the 2 carat mark for slightly over $10k.

Did you put the stone on hold? You probably want to do that considering its a decent cut at a good price.

You do know you will see some tint in a K, especially from the side? (I own a 1.65 K).

Thank you very much for your remarks.

Yes, I am aware that this is not top of the line, and that a K color diamond will tend to yellow when viewed from the side. Yellow gold ring setting will probably help.

In any case, having to establish a compromise between quality, size and budget, I think this is a solution that works for me.

Since I am by no means an expert in the subject, I just want to be sure that I'm getting a good stone for the price, and that the diamond is not milky or hazy in any way due to the clouds, and I asked the seller for more photos.

Thank you again =)2

It's an AGS Triple Zero, so it has outstanding optics.

I think I am seeing some graining in the photos, so you'll want to assess that and make sure that it doesn't take on a hazy/blurry appearance in certain lighting conditions.

This is the 360° video.

To my untrained eye it seems ok, I can not identify such major flaws that I wouldn't buy it. However, I know I don't have the necessary experience to evaluate it (and this is the reason I'm asking for your opinions).

If it looks amazing (and it should given the grading lab pedigree), then grab it up!

Also thanks to all your advice, I finally bought this diamond from Brian Gavin (virtual selection), for about $10,500 and I am very satisfied with it. :kiss2:

I found that James Allen was selling the same diamond, it is still listed here:

Thanks again for your advice, I'm super happy with my purchase. =)2
