Hi all. I’m shopping for a LGD. This one is in my price range and looks like it might be promising, but I’m concerned about the 0.9 HCA score. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and Welcome @nclrgirl !

We have a Lab Grown Diamond forum with "Experts" that know what to look out for in the different creations of
lab stone. I'm going to report this thread and have it moved over to that forum where you'll get better help.

You'll also want to post up close pictures of the stone and Idealscope, aset images if you have them. You can
also just provide the link to the stone (but put it on hold first so it doesn't get sold while you're thinking).

@tyty333 Thank you very much for the help! I wasn’t sure about the policy in this area. I’ll try to change it

Adding ASET and Idealscope images as well as photos of the diamond. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Are you specifically looking for a lower color grade, or dropping to a lower color grade in order to maximize size/spread for your budget (assuming around $4000...can you confirm)?

I had an HCA .9 score on an MRB. It was a lively little diamond and I was completely happy with it. I also had two others that were somewhere around .9 to 1.2 (can’t remember exactly).
They were certainly good enough for me, especially at the price points.

In the attached photos, the .9 is in the center. It was an IGI ideal. They all were. ABC2A184-2555-4BBD-BE74-4FC607267524.jpegED943FC4-CE98-4424-BE14-5100208EEBB3.jpeg

@DejaWiz, It’s a little of both. I prefer a bit of color. My natural diamonds range from G to K. In this case, the G and H colored stones that I could find in my budget in the size range that I was looking for got really bad HCA scores (4+)

@Alybetter, Hi! Thanks for posting photos of your beautiful ring. The diamonds really do look lively! This helps to ease my mind!

Proportions of the first stone out perform diamonds with so called ideal when worn in a ring.
