Hi everyone.
I''m in the process of buying the diamonds for a 3 stone e-ring and have a question about the smaller side stones.
I know all about the exact details of the 0.77 F VS2 centre stone as it comes with the GIA Dossier but the side stones are a different matter.
My diamond trader has shown me what he believes are two beautiful 0.27 F VVS stones which to my untrained eye I agree but I was wondering about the importance of cut grading with these small stones.
The reason I ask is because he found the stones for me from a small packet he had marked ''F VVS'' with around 15 stones in it from which he found two which were exactly equal in diameter.
Should the cut of these stones be very important? Is this a common practice with smaller stones and is there any way I can find out the cut of them?
Thanks very much for any advice!
