Hi - I am pretty green. Everything I''ve read said to stay away from I3 diamonds.

This item is $400. I attached a picture. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to PS!

Not sure what you're asking here. If you're asking whether to buy this bracelet, only you can make that decision. Everyone has different priorities. If what you're wanting is a big look for a relatively little amount of money, then perhaps this fits the bill. If you're wanting a high quality piece, I doubt this will satisfy. If these diamonds are graded I3, there is a very good chance that both beauty and durability will be affected. Moreover, I strongly doubt these diamonds were cut with great care since the clarity is so poor. Have you seen this piece in person? Do you love it? Don't know if this answers your question. Hope it helps!

Run. As far and fast as you can. Unless you WANT 3 carats of frozen spit. I3''s are so cloudy and included they don''t really resemble a diamond at all.

for that amount of money, you may be able to get a better sparkle with CZ. the bracelet will probably not be very sparkly or white.

this is what K I3 looks like up close

I3, will be heavily included, lots of dark carbon specks etc... Not worth the gold it''s set in. Seriously.

Thanks for the reply. I am learning quickly that most pieces I find on the net are of this ''low'' quality clearity. I expect that I will have to spend several thousand dollars to get a quality piece. Our 30th wedding anniversary is approaching and I wanted to get a head start on a purchase.

Places like Overstock.com SmartBargans etc Zales... offer low quality gems. Often i1-i3. I expect my best option is to shop locally and examine the piece in person.

I must say I did like the attached picture.

Take a look at the diamond bracelets at www.whiteflash.com they are beautiful. Also check out www.facetscollection.com . They have some beautiful bracelets as well. Both are very high quality diamonds and sparkle like crazy. I have bought from both of these vendors. Good luck!!!

I would say don''t do it. I once looked at a bracelet with I1 stones in a store and it looked horrible. It had some sparkle, but when looking at the stones with a loupe I saw all sorts of stuff. I could even tell that the stones had varying table sizes with my naked eye! Save your money and get a bracelet with some well cut stones that you can treasure for the rest of your life and pass on. It will be worth the wait.

I have one from Whiteflash on my wish list.
