Hi guys,

what do you think of this one? Is K too brown/yellow in colour?
Should it be set in yellow or white gold?

Colour is a very subjective thing, at least to me. I am partial to a warmer diamond. To my eyes - at least on this screen - this diamond has a pinky/brown tint. Colour in a K will be noticeable at the very least from the side view. The ideal cut will mask it a bit from the top view, but it will likely look warmer. White or yellow gold would both work but will have different effects. Yellow might compliment the warmness, white might give it a lovely “antique” contrast.

Have you seen a K colour in person?

Disclaimer- I am no cut angle expert so will others weigh in on that.

I love the color, but it definitely isn't a white stone. It will be noticibly tinted. Are you ok with that? And can you post the report?

Damn... that was a beautiful hue. Certainly not white and not a typical K. For future reference, a typical K will show some yellow tint and warmth but can be easily made to look whiter with setting/metal. That brown/pink would be harder to make whiter. But man... it would have been magical set in rose gold with pink melee.
