Does anyone else find it amazing that Liam Neeson is out in public?

I guess it''s just shocking because normally when a star suffers a personal loss, knowing the paparazzi is everywhere waiting, they usually lay totally and completely low...you barely see them even months after the fact. Yet, Liam is walking the streets of NYC, thanking people for their sympathy...it''s pretty amazing, and it makes the loss feel more "real" for some reason. Everytime I see him looking pale and lost, it breaks my heart. That poor family

No not really, in my experience you tend to go numb and on automatic pilot when a loved one dies, there has been much for him to do and maybe keeping busy and being out there is helping him in some way - maybe he can't bear to not be busy right now and the time for his private grief and its resultant stages will come later. He is probably still in shock to some extent.

Yes. Sometimes sitting at home alone, with nothing but silence, memories, and reminders, it gets to be too much.

Among the pictures to which Ellen posted a link (and which I saved) but which I cannot print is a photo of Miss Richardson at the 1998 premiere of, "The Parent Trap" with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She (Miss Richardson) is in a lovely white gown with cap sleeves. Her co-star Dennis Quaid and his (then) wife, Meg Ryan, are by her side.
