I just wanted to share some pictures with everyone here. After all the lurking about, it is about time I contributed something, right?

This is my grandmother's ring. She left it to me since it matched my eyes (I am the only one of her grandchildren with light eyes). It is suposed to be an acqua, but there is no documentation. I am not even sure of the metal.

A better view of the design, but a bad picture of the stone (it doesn''t have that ugly dark pattern in center).

I''ll stop now, since I seem to have become addicted to taking photos and uploading them! Next time, though, I''ll take some better pictures.

That''s beautiful! I like the 3 stones on either side. Very unique look.

And I feel you on the addiction to uploading photos...

That''s really lovely.

It was apparent that your grandmother was thinking of you - what a beautiful ring to remember her by. Is there a story behind the ring that you would be willing to share?

Get it appraised, when you have a chance.

It''s very pretty! I really like the setting and the color of the aqua.

Beautiful!! But we need closer pictures. . . please?

Love the setting; looks vintage from the 1900-1920 range.

Ohhh, I love the setting and step cut aqua! Simply wonderful.

My favorite colored stone is a step-cut aquamarine. Your ring has an art-deco appeal, which I find attractive as well!

Just gorgeous. Aquamarines are my favourite coloured stones! And my birthstone, which is handy

You are one lucky lady to own such a beautiful ring!!!
