ACA stones. Are they the same as AGS 000?

I am working on getting a set of stones for my band and I am confused about what to buy where the cut quality is guaranteed to be top notch. Is an ACA stone going to be equivalent to an AGS 000?

ACA must be AGS000 graded. Not sure about melee though.

its stones at .30 up as I understand it. So if I buy AGS 000 I am fine?

ACA must be H&A too. AGS0 is not an indicator of H&A. Performance wise, if the IS image is good, should not be visibly different.

not all ags0 diamonds are equal ACA's in general are at the top of the AGS0 range in performance and looks.
It is very possible to get diamonds just as good but not all ags0 diamonds will be so.

AGS000 is used interchangeable with AGS0 by many people.
The extra 0s do not mean anything unless it is a D/IF

True Hearts is their h&a brand with its own set of standards.
They have heart images so you can check the hearts which is a good thing for anyone selling h&a to provide.

Most would agree ACA is more consistent stone to stone across the line.

It sounds as though you want to source your own melees? If so, I don’t know if you are aware of this but WF will NOT sell loose ACA melees. They used to but not anymore.

i know--its either buy through WF or somewhere else..............something equivalent
