Hi all - Have been lurking for a while, great info on this site. I''ve searched a bunch of stores and am about to purchase this stone - any comments or suggestions? Red flags? Thanks in advance!

Ideal Round Cut
1.26ct
F color
VS2
Triple excellent cut/polish/symetry
No flourescence
GIA certified

59% Table
60.2% Depth
41 degrees pavilion angle
33.5 degrees crown angle
80% lower facets

It''s 10k, looked great in the store...

numbers look good, if you liked it go for it

looks promising from the numbers.

Numbers look good, it is a 60/60 type stone so it will most likely excel in brilliance. The price is within the range I found using PS search.

Thanks! I really liked it, and I think my (hopefully) future finacee will really like it too...

looks nice and price is right! great job!

It has the potential to be a good diamond, if you have a Jareds nearby go and view some of their AGS0 Peerless brand which normally have smaller tables to see which type you like best.

This is a good suggestion!

Thinking about changing my mind. Saw a stone in the same store, same price:

1.36ct
G
VS2
Triple E cut
58% Table
60.5% Depth
40.8 degrees pavilion angle
34 degrees crown angle

Thoughts on this stone? I like that it''s slight bigger, and scores higher on Holloway...

numbers look nice

I like this bigger stone. It is a more traditional angle combination. And it is bigger

I think I''m leaning toward the 1.36... anyone else?

i like the bigger one too:-)

The diamond has definite potential and from the info we have, this one is my preferred option out of the two. But you are in a great position to compare both which you have done. Also a higher score on the HCA doesn't necessarily mean a stone is better, the HCA is used for rejection not selection, all scores below 2 are considered equal pending further evaluation.

i like the g - vs2 better as well.
i''m not a fan of 60/60 diamonds, but to each his own.

I went with the 1.36 G VS2! Very happy with my decision. Going in Saturday to look at settings...
