About to buy diamond, any opinions

I am about to but this diamond, I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on it.

I''ve done a search and haven''t found anything similiar for a better price then this diamond. Also, I know the color isn''t great, but it was something I was willing to give up to get this diamond into my budget.

That sounds like it could be really nice!

You'd need more info and/or see it in person...you mention the color...have you thought about going down to a truly eye clean si1? You could jump to an H colo I bet....

Specs look promising for a nice performer.

Keep in mind that Princess cut diamonds tend to hold and show more body color than rounds. I have a well cut J round that faces up white, even set in plat. But, I've seen a decently well cut I color princess that showed a lot of color. You might try looking at different color grades of princess cuts to decide if you feel that J will work for you before taking the plunge.

Also, diamonds available right now are only a window in time. If you are not pressed by a time frame, you might wait a bit to see what comes available. Maybe consider lower clarity, like MMM suggested. Or, call and chat with several Vendors. Find one you're comfortable working with and let them source for you based on your specs and price point.
