Hi,

I've read that you should expect appraisals to be over $100, but here in town, they only charge $20-30 and they really don't seem to be too knowledgeable. They say they can appraise, but I don't think they appraise the full 100 yards. I want a picture, write-ups, maybe an ideal-scope, etc... All these stores are jewelry outlets. I also don't want to have a byast opinion. Should I not look to the B&M stores? Where do I go!!!

Thanks,
Erik

And yes, I spelled appraisals wrong in the title...

Erik, what you need is a professional appraiser versus a dabbler in the art.

There's a great list at the top of your screen under "appraisers".
