a Whiteflash pendant for daughter - need your advice!!!

I want to get my 25 year old daughter a Whiteflash Ready Set Go pendant. She was looking at Whiteflash''s website and loved the martini setting, but my budget only allows for a 0.25 diamond. (She has no idea I''m buying her this for Christmas!) I think a 0.25 will disappear in that setting - it''s so tiny. I don''t think she''d object to the full bezel set if that''s what I end up buying. The martini setting is really lovely, though.

Does anybody have or ever seen a 0.25 in a martini pendant?

I agree with you that a small stone needs a little more oomph to be a pendant. I have a .30 carat diamond pendant in a bezel setting, and I prefer the bezel - it gives the stone more presence!

12 posts down on this page of the neckshots thread is ClownFishFunk's .27ct pendant in a 4-prong setting, and it looks like a pretty nice size. If you think your daughter would prefer the martini to the bezel, I think it could definitely hold its own:

eac, would you say your bezel is thin like the one's on Tiffany's by the Yard? It looks like the bezel Whiteflash does adds at least a mm around the diamond.

EBree thanks for the links! The tiny diamonds show rather well! Imurden's looks much larger than I would expect for .25. My daughter *loved* the simple look of martini. I was surprised because she usually likes jewelry with more substance! She's a LIW (it may be a long while . . .) so I told her about Whiteflash and that's how she saw the pendants.

poshpepper - I'm thinking she would probably love the bezel as well. I love the look of the Whiteflash bezel set pendants Ries got for her bridesmaid/sisters.
