Hi everyone,
I've had a hard time deciding between two settings for my replacement engagement ring. I was debating between the ME30 and ME31 danhov settings. I just really wanted to see them in person so I gave them a call. Shant answered my call and I made an appointment to come in to their office. They don't have a formal showroom, so it was very sweet of him and the Danhov crew to take them time out of their workday to show me some settings.

Their work is utterly amazing, declicious, delicate, and well-made.

.

I haven't decided for sure, but I think I'm going with the ME30!!!

Some pictures of the Me30 in person. I think the center stone is a 1.5 carat CZ.

Some pictures of the ME31. By the way, this setting looks *much* more delicate in person than on the Jamesallen.com website. I liked it much better in person, but I loved the ME30 a little bit more since it is so unique.

Almandine, I was able to see the ME12 in person and it was stunning. However, I forgot to take pictures...sorry hun. However, Shant suggested that this setting is really best for stones in the 3-5 carat range and really what the setting would look like with a smaller stone is the ME31 setting. This setting can also be made for a cushion.

I agree, the first one is gorgeous and would be my pick! I''d certainly be happy to have the other one for a right hand ring, though!

The stone is a 1.1 so it should be really lovely in the ME30.

I think the split shank would make an awesome RHR. A few of the halos I saw would also be awesome for RHRs.

Yes, it will look lovely! So when will you make your final decision?

I agree that the first ring is the prettiest. I like them both but the first ring is just more special somehow...
