A ring "wardrobe"...Do you have e-ring looks to match your moods?

I married a few years ago and love my haloed 1.04 old brilliant cushion in platinum. But...

Sometimes I look down and the fussy fru-fru of it all leaves me wanting something sleek and simple and understated.
The other day I picked up this tiny little princess in a pawn shop. It is eye clean, about .30, sparkles nicely and was super cheap. I have enjoyed wearing a small diamond for a change. It is a place holder for my next project. A Brian Gavin Signature Cape/Blue in yellow gold (budget-friendly) at about .85. in the simple 6 prong mount with a matching plain band.

Back to topic.

Have you noticed your e-ring wants changing? Show me your "wardrobe" of looks :) Do you ever wear small diamonds when you have other options?

Yup.
I have a 5 stone for when I feel blingy
I have a floral solitaire for a classic look
And a eternity baguette band for when I want to be low key.
A red spinel 3 stone for when I’m feeling colorful
A fancy light yellow marquise when I’m feeling punky and alternative.

Soon to add an asscher to the mix for when I’m feeling low key fancy lol.

Wow, you can definitely change it up depending on mood. I love that red spinel! I see you have a pretty bezel between your fingers...is this a pendant? Love it! What a lovely and varied collection!

Have my original set (that still doesn’t fit my postpartum fingers :cry2:) that I feel goes with everything.

My push present that offers a little more finger coverage and if I pair it with a diamond band is a little more sparkle if I want it. B19A85A2-9647-4F19-AEE6-626D0AC7D77A.jpeg

This set for when I want something really low key:

And a few little diamond stackers sprinkled here and there I can play with. I love both options you’ve chosen! It’s nice to change it up.

Yes, I have several diamond erings and bands and I wear the one that is most appropriate for the situation or how I am feeling that day.

Yup it’s a pendant or a bracelet charm depending on my mood. These days I usually wear it as a bracelet. 4F27AF84-F4C3-4928-8188-0DF76B339958.jpeg

Only one ering. Worn 99% of the time so it seems I stick with one look.
5 stone for a more subtle look.
I have eternity bands but it turns out I don’t wear them much at all, except the VC single cut with my
Ering.

But I change my bracelets everyday.

Luxe, I love your sets. The first solitaire is so lovely on your hand. The second is also beautiful. Sometimes I just wear bands too. Nice to change it up. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I have multiple rings. I have culled down what I have and may do more culling. I wear whatever strikes me. It's been weeks since I have worn any jewelry at all though.

WUAr384o-254055866.jpg oqvFLbZQ-253964667.jpg I wear a MRB for dressier occasions (1.77 ctr and 1.70 in the setting) and an emerald cut for everyday use (1.05 ctr and 2.0 in the setting). I also used to wear my mom's engagement ring which is about .50 and my grandmother's engagement ring that is about .30. I recently put them into one new ring right hand ring that I occasionally wear on my left hand. MBpZhg7T-254086879(2).jpg

i think the petite solitaire with a wide band is a really nice look. :kiss2:

I'd like to eventually have 3 e-ring style rings:
yellow diamond in yellow gold (check)
white diamond in white gold, maybe 3 or 5 stone
brownish pink diamond in rose gold

until the day i can make those big purchases without remorse i have 2 sims that do the trick when i want to change up the look or wear something smaller. some days i just wear a band or a colored stone ring instead. some days i wear no jewelry at all. hubby doesn't care one way or the other.

I have a few different engagement style rings and wear them depending on my mood.
I have a simple pear solitaire and it is my only plain prong solitaire at this time.
My other rings have diamond halos, metal halos, etc.

Oh yeah I used to wear a different ring every day & just keep the wedding band the same. That's what I love about gemstones - you can mix & match your wardrobe, mood, event etc!

Thank you @pearaffair. It was purchased before I found Pricescope. And let me tell you, I went crazy trying to find my perfect stone. If I had only known about the vendors here! Anyway, I am still very enamored with the diamond and the setting. It's a GIA triple X, D, VVS2, 1.77ct. The setting is by Michael M, 18kt White Gold, 1.70ct total weight D/E, VVS side stones.

I find that during the quarantine, my diamond wedding set sits on the ring holder and I’ve been wearing my grandmother’s wedding band (24/7 due to comfort) and alternating my colored gem RHRs. I miss wearing a different one each day and with so much hand washing and nowhere to go why not just pick one and enjoy! Lately, I’ve found a new love for my grey/lavender spinel that I received last year at this time. It was a gift to myself for kayaking 131 miles of the Columbia River over five days. How I wish that was possible to do today. 7BE5B110-84CE-4A48-98E6-3B01B18261B3.jpeg

I’m not engaged yet but I think whenever I do get engaged/married I don’t plan to change my wedding set (thats why I want something that will go with everything)! Even if my partner wants to upgrade my stone, I probably wouldn’t want to sell it and would prefer to repurpose my engagement ring into a pendant or something to wear everyday.

So I think I would be the kind of person who expresses my jewelry creativity through my other pieces, but the wedding set remains the way it is! On less-blingy / traveling days I would probably just do wedding band.

I have my EC when I want a white stone and my yellow radiant when I wear my yellow diamonds. I have several bands that I can wear if I don't want to wear a big ring but I rarely if ever do that.

I'm thinking about a .6 ct round ideal diamond set in a 6 prong setting. My hubby prefers I just wear my wedding set and doesn't think I will go smaller. My ering is 1.17 ct 753639
Are those who have smaller diamonds wearing them or always prefer their larger diamond? Thanks for helping. I'm trying to think through and I know the answer varies by the person but any insight is appreciated.

I think your set is beautiful. There's nothing wrong with a smaller diamond, but I'm curious why you're considering it. How about a right hand ring?

Thank you so much @Diamond Girl 21 I really love my current set and always will. I guess I'm thinking there's something nostalgic about a 6 prong setting, small diamond. The diamond I'm considering is a D ideal and I have a G ideal, same vendor. I certainly don't need another diamond lol but I see folks on here with different sets and it intrigues me. I appreciate your feedback.
