I've read many threads here where many are uncertain about making a diamond purchase online. So, I thought I'd share my recent experience with Wink Jones and High Performance Diamonds.
While I've been quite pleased with my M color round, I have read such wonderful things about the Crafted by Infinity line of diamonds. This, along with my nagging thoughts about the cut of my current stone (partly driven from too much time on Pricescope!
), led me to reach out to Wink.
I was quite impressed with his extensive knowledge and willingness to address all of my questions. Aside from my general questions about CBI stones, we discussed the process for trading in diamonds and the Craft-to-Order process in great detail. I don't think I left any area untouched, and Wink was not only accommodating, but also very thorough.
One feature I found immensely valuable was the 'See It To Believe It program'. Wink will send any CBI stone you're considering to you for in-person viewing and inspection. I took advantage of this so I could compare it with my current diamond. The CBI arrived the very next day and was breathtakingly gorgeous!
Wink even included a comprehensive diamond “tool kit” with Ideal and ASET scopes, loupe, and diamond holder so I could really inspect the stone thoroughly. For those who are searching for their perfect stone, the SITBI program is the perfect way to compare a true, super-ideal with any other diamond you may be considering. The difference is undeniable.
As it turns out, I'm actually deferring my purchase until the end of the year. I've been on a bit of a jewelry binge the past several months (
yikes, lol), and my better half and I decided it would be best to wait a while. The return process was just as quick and easy, thanks to Jamie and Wink.
