I have a question regarding the affect that carbon crystals (so small that it is somewhat hard to find them with a 10X loupe) might have on the color of a diamond.
1. Could carbon crystals this small affect the diamond color? There are only 2 of them.
2. If they could affect the color could the affect be noticable only in certain light? (ie. regular indoor lighting.)
The diamond is as white as can be in most lighting, especially sunlight and halogen, but not in indoor evening lighting. Could this be my imagination or that particular lighting??
Thanks in advance for your replies!
