A model tattooed her eyeball purple. She now could lose her eye...

I have seen it before, but not on the streets locally. I think it's fine for people to do what they want with their bodies. Don't care. But this girl was injured horrifically. That shouldn't happen. She could lose her eye. Maybe some people don't care about that kind of risk, or think they can mitigate the risk, which may even be true to an extent. In this case, the artist wasn't qualified, and his subject proceeded anyway. I feel sorry for her because no one wants to risk losing an eye I would think.
 
I know that the kind health care professional in me should have sympathy for this girl. But I just can't muster it up.
 
I didn't read the article, but the fact that she's a model made me think she was trying to achieve something that would give her an edge over other models, you know, something that would make her recognizable.

Call me crazy, but I think the idea of having the white part of the eyes a different colour is interesting. Like a cat's eyes or something. However, the risk and permanency of the procedure are only two of the many reasons I would never get this done. I won't even commit to a tattoo! :snooty:
