Ally, i am late here, but I just read your story and that is the craziest thing I have ever heard! What an amazing turn of events. I am Canadian too, actually faculty at a Canadian university so I understand how the system works a little and your situation is so amazing and unreal! How wonderful! I am so happy for you!

PS: I *think* that Quebec still has a Premier, even though some in the province might like him to be Prime Minister

Thank you everyone! I read all of the posts! I''ve been running around trying to pass my final exam, and getting all of the paperwork done (there''s a lot but and I''m terribly behind) not to mention trying to get malpractice insurance, disability etc. It''s a lot more then I thought! And not to mention a wedding which was pretty much pushed aside until now.

I haven''t taken it all in yet. I think I am kind of waiting until I get the *pass* on my Quebec licensing exam. I mean I''m pretty sure I passed, but it''s like the final stamp on the paper.
