My fiance and I have finally decided to start seriously considering taking that big final leap and get married. This obviously includes figuring out what kind of bands we want. We've both agreed that we want bands with stones set in them, and I came across something that, to me, looked rather unique, and I like the idea. Bands with alternating black and white diamonds. I have several questions about these.
-While I realize there are both natural and "enhanced" black diamonds, which is preferred? From what I gather, the natural ones are more likely to become damaged, which kinda frightens me.
-I realize that going to an actual jewelry store is probably the better idea, but it's much more difficult to find something you want or like due to more limited variety than online. Aside from contacting the site, is there a good way to know that you're getting what you say you are before you commit to buying a piece? Or is it either go to a jeweler to buy it, or visit a jeweler to make sure you have what you think you do after?
-Does anyone have any suggestions for where to buy rings online if that's the path we choose to take? The site that I happened across these on will, if it is allowed and permitted, be linked below. If not, my apologies, and mods please remove it.
If I'm posting this in the wrong place, again, my apologies and please relocate me to the best place to receive my help. Thank you ahead of time for your assistance.

Wedding Bands World
If anyone has any knowledge on or experience with this site, please provide it. I want to know that I'm getting what I want, and of as high quality as possible.

I have not heard of that site. I think some people here have bought from this one:

http://www.e-weddingbands.com/

I would just be sure you buy from a company with a return policy. If you want to see a band before deciding, then send for one before having it engraved.

Ditto and Thritto!

Fourto on the return policy. Have you seen treated black diamonds in person much?
They're one of those things most people either love or hate.

I second the recommondations above.

I've also bought from this place and been happy: http://www.jewelbasket.com/ (I bought chains, but their wedding band/stacking band selection is really nice and with a lot of different options that you don't see other places).

Thank all of you for the responses, I'll certainly be sure to give the two sites you guys gave a look.

I've come across black diamonds once, maybe twice. I liked them when I seen them, but didn't get to look terribly closely at them. Still have plenty of time to look around, and for the sake of knowing what we're getting into may try to find a jewelry store locally that carries them. Worst case, we realize that's not what we want.
