I just had a first phone interview with a popular internet site that is looking for an assistant diamond buyer in their offices! I really want this position because it would get me back into the jewelry trade and also use alot of the things I learned in Communication,marketing and business when i recently went back to college!I have interviewed for many jobs in the last several months of un-employment(was recently laid off of a job that involved customer service and jewelry related fraud)and this one has real potential to be a long term keeper!Could really use the dust and employment prayers because the interviewer mentioned that while my resume was on the top of the pile because of my jewelry buying experience and gemology background that there was a large amount of people who applied for this one position! HELP!!!
