Hello!
First I want to say that I found this site very helpful. Thanks.
... and I've got couple questions for those who are willing to help me:
What would you prefer a Lazar cut diamond 1.0 ct. SI-1, H or an ideal cut (non-Lazar) diamond 1.0 ct. SI-1, E (GIA cert.). Should I go for the better color or for the better cut?
And is the Lazar diamond (1.0 ct., SI-1 clarity, H color) worth $9K? (They ask for it that much.)

I'm looking forward to your advice. Thanks.

You have a far better probabilty of great cut with LK, but some LK's can be a bit near the steep deep crown and pavilion so be sure to check it out with the Cut adviser or buy an ideal-scope.

LK have a good resale value too because it is a trusted name.

But the GIA stone could be better, we can not know without the data and without seeing the stone.
