60BF4724-E28A-4FD2-BAA2-B886540BB648.jpeg My friend would like a band to go with her Henri Daussi ER.
I’m struggling a bit because of the color of her stones. I’ve not personally shopped for stones at I-L color and they seem to be hard to find.
Here is a photo of her appraisal with the specs on her ER.
I’m a little shocked at the price of a ring with such color and clarity.
What am I missing here? Why are Henri Daussi pieces so expensive?

She likes chunky with a vintage look.
Her budget is under $1,000.

I showed her this and she really likes it. Kind of vintage a little thicker at 2.8 mm, and within her budget.

Ring size?

Would she consider an engraved band without diamonds? That way she doesn't have to worry about competing contrast in the stones. And that would be more affordable too. Plus I think it would look lovely with her ER.

this one has diamonds but it's very pretty and a good price

another one with diamonds worth considering if your friend decides she wants diamonds

I like @missy's idea of an engraved band. I think that would look lovely with her e-ring! Also, if she does eventually get a diamond eternity band to stack with the e-ring, she'd probably need a spacer of some sort between the e-ring and eternity band to protect them from each other, so the engraved band could serve that purpose in the future.

If she does want to go with a diamond band, I wouldn't recommend the chunky look she showed you for two reasons: (1) I really don't think there's any way to get there within a $1,000 budget unless she's willing to go with simulants, and (2) I think that large of a band would compete too much with her lovely e-ring. Instead, I'd try to find an eternity or semi-eternity band with the same size diamonds as the melee in her e-ring. Maybe something like this, which is $1,099:

The melee in that one is G/H so I think it would be close enough to the I-color stones in her e-ring that the difference wouldn't be noticeable. BUT, this band is 14k WG and I think she would need to look into having it made in 18k since her e-ring is 18k. That would push the price up a bit, but she could always go with a half or three-quarter eternity to offset the cost of upgrading to 18k WG.

call IDJ and ask what she can get for $1000 - low color - 1/2 eternity style so it all shows on top.

Mydiamondzone or Israel Rose might have something in her price range
