Just shamelessly posting some rings I've had for years.
First up, a vintagey filigree ring I got here in northern VA. It's a lot bigger than any of my other jewelry - sometimes I think it's perhaps a little much for me, but I love it.
Secondly, a cluster ring - gift from my parents while I was in college. It has a matching necklace, which I should probably also post.
For the longest time I thought I wanted a star-set princess cut ering because I loved this ring so much. And then I discovered PS and the world of possibilities! Which is good, because now I won't have 2 overly similar rings.
I still love the way the metal accents frame the shape on this. Someday I'd like to design a setting for a round that accents the stone with metal shapes on either side that somehow grow out of the band. If only I could sketch...
Very beautiful rings and may i say that the bigger ring doesn't look "too much" at all...it looks truly a m a z i n g on your hand And you have very pretty hands too Thank you so much for sharing! Wear them in good health...
Thanks so much Isabelle, betty, natyLad, Decogirl, Frenchgirl, Elrohwen, oddoneout, Sparklenut, Tuckins, and oranges!
Decogirl, Elrohwen, and Sparklenut, yeah the design of the first one really amazes me constantly. I don't see many rings like it. It's not a true antique, but I got it for a bargain so it works for me!
