A few diamond/sapphire pics

Here is a diamond a sapphire ring my dh gave me before we were engaged.. It has a 1/2 ct sapph and 2 .25 lazare cut diamonds. There is a bit of yellow gold surrounding the diamonds, which came from gold from his great grandmother''s ring.

thanks! I was truly touched that his grandmother gave him her mother''s ering to use the gold.. We were both a little sad that you couldn''t see a little more of the gold, but the jeweler said that was what was usable after the gold was refined. Here is a slightly better pic.

BTW, the center circle ''dots'' are just white gold. When we first saw them, both of us thought they were diamonds! Here is a side shot too.
