I had this stone with me for a few days! It’s really pretty and you won’t have issues. I decided to get a higher color but other than that it was so nice. I can show you pics if you want :)

Sure, I would love to see them! I am a bit color sensitive and am unsure of an H so we shall see. Could you see the color difference or the inclusions with a naked eye?

BTW, how did you get hands on it? They have just posted videos and I was under the impression that it has just come from Europe (not that it matters to me, I am just curious.)

It was still in Antwerp when I requested it, so it was a freshly cut diamond. This was only about 6 weeks ago so it’s still very new.

I honestly thought I’d be able to see the inclusions and I had a hard time finding them with the loupe. Once I did I really tried to see them without and there was no way.

Generally the H looked bright and white to me, but there were a few spots in my house that it showed more color and I ultimately decided to jump color.

Thank you so much for the pics! They are stunning. I have never had an H color so when I go for viewing, I am taking my 2ct, G color with me to compare and see. I have noticed that in this size, the color from G to H can go $3,000+ so I am not so sure about that.

Btw, would you happen to have the stone mounted in the ring? - perhaps, that might make the stone look whiter.

Here I have a beautifully crafted CBI stone which I adore... one question: the inclusions at 9-ish - might they cause chipping at some point in time? If you have any other opinions on the stone, I am all ears.

I don’t think the inclusions will cause any problems, just my view and I’m not an expert. If you have any concerns about the inclusions ask Wink/HPD.

Great size! I personally would not have a problem with this H. I have a J CBI 2.17ct and find that to be white face up, and I can easily see colour. YOU have to be comfortable, and love your colour choice.

I agree that one needs to be comfortable with the color. When buying diamonds, I buy them for me, not others as I will be staring at them (from every angle. :) ) I will be viewing the diamond in person, soon... so we shall see. So far, it looks impressive!

Wink is wonderful and once, I see the stone, I will surely talk to him.

Haha I didn’t get it mounted, only saw it loose! But honestly there were very few instances that I noticed any tint. It just happened to be in my favorite spots - like by my fireplace :) I can even still see a little bit of tint in the F I ended up with in those same spots - so it’s definitely tied to those places in my house.

And you’re right about color in this size being a very expensive jump!

I wonder if the tint you saw in your diamonds (even F!) had anything to do with the diamond's reflection of the surrounding (fire=yellow?) I have dark ivory walls and even my E color was reflecting yellow tint - because of the walls.

They kept asking me that too, but my walls are white. I do have bamboo shades there though and definitely think the diamond might have been absorbing the color.

The color can be absorbed from the sun illuminating your walls (even when walls are white), fire...etc.. I found out about the power of light in your surrounding from my E colored stone that was all of sudden yellow-ish in my house, which made me freak out for a sec.

Hopefully you love this one, then! It’s seriously amazing and so clear. You’ll have to update when you see it!

I will definitely update. I do love the size, as I was born on the 13th -

To tell you the truth, the G looks yellower... wonder why... and your biggest one, the most fiery - gorgeous!

All 3 stone are dirty. :knockout: I took the pic when we were having dinner in a restaurant.

There must be a prize for getting some camera to see / unsee such changes in diamond color / colorlessness. I'd so ask a few questions off the folk who do this for a living!
