OMG, Freke, that''s STUNNING!!! I''ve been dying for a JKT key, and I think it''s my first project for 2010! It''s great to see what she can do with stones, since most of the key work has been metal design with initials, etc.
**Fingers crossed** and some **SHIPPING DUST** that you receive it before you leave!!!
Amazing, it''s not just a key but a gemstone encrusted key. I love how Julia is able to incorporate various colours and shapes and still keep everything tied together. The amount of thought put into it is incredible too. Congrats on the wedding and I hope you''ll be able to bring it along with you.
Oh Liz, it''s amazing! The colors fit so well together. Congratulations on finishing college and best wishes on your upcoming wedding! Much dust that it gets there on Tuesday.
Oh my goodness, this is incredible! You put me to shame on the whole collaborative process of working with someone. (I''m currently waiting for a key to, but not so far along.) This is really gorgeous and uniquely you looking. It really has turned into a piece I''m sure you''ll treasure.
Freke, your ideas are just incredible, I really envy your creative talent!!! I LOVE it. It's a masterpiece, and what a wonderful friend to gift it to you. I hope it gets here before you leave!
Good Lord, Freke - that is absolutely stunning!!!! Just adore the different stones and how you chose to arrange them in that lovely design.
Good luck on your wedding - I have been following your planning for a year now, and I''m so happy you are finally getting married! Much love to you this coming week!
I was slightly sceptical when I saw the fourth post with the loose stones, but when I got to the pic of the "finished" key, I was like, "wow- I want someting like that!"
Combining many tones/colours and cuts like that is tricky business - but when it works, it''s magical!
Thanks everyone! I''m going a little crazy at the moment, but wanted to say thank you for your kind comments, and let you know that Julia shipped it out today and it''s supposed to be here by NOON tomorrow.
Needless to say I will not be leaving the house until it is in my mitts. I''ll see if I can snap a couple of pictures for you guys when I get it!
