a $160 LITTLE ROUGH PARCEL I BOUGHT

i picked these up for $160 tota weight is 4.56 cts
how did i do?i dont have a clue how or were to cut them but i may in about 2years,they look fairly clean to me and they are natural diamond.what is rough worth per ct?

THEY ARE 4.5 CTS. ROUNDED OFF. I GOT THEM FROM A CLOSE FREIND IN THE GEM BIZ. HES HAD THEM A LONG TIME.I HAVE A PAWN SHOP AND I TOOK IN A PAIR OF EXOTIC SPEAKERS NEW COSTED LIKE 10,000 DOLLARS.I PAID LIKE 400 FOR THEM THEY WERE LIKE 6YRS.OLD WELL HE GOT THE SPEAKERS FOR 400 AND I GOT THIS ROUGH HED BEEN SITTING ON FOR YEARS,AT WHAT HE PAID.YES IT IS DIAMOND OCTAHEDRONS .ABOUT IDEAL SHAPE FOR MAXIMUM YIELD FOR RBS

These look like two 5 grainers and two 3or4 grainers..... Your largest cut stones would yield 35 points to 55 points each - depending. Cost for this kind of rough ranges between 275 to 525 a carat USD... so you did well from that respect (depends on the quality)..

I would forget about cutting them - keep 'em, and make them into "rough" Jewelery or as conversation pieces.

We agree... Seems like they would be more unique as the focal point of a piece of jewelry that serves to keep the story alive...

yea, you might as well keep them, It is not worth the labor involved to cut them!!!
