So earlier this year I started watching a YouTube channel centered on makeup, cosmetics and nails. The woman who runs it does a quarterly update on products she used up. It just seemed so satisfying to throw out empty containers that I decided to follow suit.
I rounded up all my products and have been diligently trying to use them up and not buy any new stuff. It's so hard! The darn eyeshadows last forever. I like to use different lipsticks depending on my outfit and/or mood so there's a large selection that I can't seem to make a dent in. The only category I wittled down is hair stuff but only because Im using it on my kids.
Does anyone else try to use up cosmetics before buying new? I feel that marketing has gotten me overly excited about constantly buying the next new thing.
