Here are the specs on the stone...
> GIA Certified
> Weight: .93 carat Round Brilliant
> Measurements: 6.20-6.27 x 3.90mm
> Depth: 62.6%
> Table: 56%
> Girdle: Medium to Slightly Thick Faceted
> Culet: None
> Polish: Good
> Symmetry: Very Good
> Clarity: VS1
> Color: D

It also was a 0 on the Sarin Report.

The setting: Hand engraved platinum filigree, with one trillion 1/4 ct
blue sapphire on each side of the solitaire, ,the setting was made by Renaissance Platinum.

I paid $9400 for it 3 years ago, its a very highend ring, but
I am asking $5500.00

It is brand new and never been worn.
It can be resized, and is currently a size 5 I believe.

Thanks alot, and email me or send me a priv msg with any questions.

Lovely ring. More ornate for my tastes. Just a thought, have you considered removing the center stone for the new ring & sell the setting?

Good luck.

I have considered it, and looked at some options, and may end up doing that. But hopefully I wont have to dismantle the ring.

The ring is still for sale, and wnated to mention again the diamond is AGS 0. $5500.00.

I appreciate the chance to post here, and am not a jeweler.

Take care,
Graeme

Gorgeous ring. I love good sapphires with platinum. If I had a big anniversary coming up, I might consider it. But this year is only our 12th and we just spent about that much money remodeling the living room.

Maybe next year...

I am glad you like it. The photos dont do it justice but its the best I can do. It will strike someons fancy im sure.

You know, that center stone wouldn't pass the superideal-nitpicker-diamond-snob test, but I bet the whole package is prettier than 90% of the rings the rarified flame-throwing superideals go in.

Really, really pretty ring, I think. I'm impressed.

No it wouldnt...It isnt H & A, or SuperbCert...Or whatever...8star. Its an amazing diamond, and there will be no need for a special scope to see the gimmick.

At the time I couldnt find the reason in paying 20%+ more for one of those diamonds when there is not visible differnce to the naked eye.

I am glad you like the ring too, I thinks its pretty classy if I do say so myself.

I love your ring. I can't afford it but at first glance I do think the price is fair.

Thanks, its wonderful to get compliments on the ring, since I spent alot of time choosing everything about it.

I just hope someone who wants a 10,000 ring, and truly cannot afford it, may splurge a bit to a 10,000 ring for 5500.00.

That would be great.

The total weight on the sapphires is .92 ct's.
