Don''t apologize! It''s normal to feel stressed in the lead up. Don''t try on the dress today-leave it a few days, cut down on carbs, drink lots of water and keep feeling better. I''m sure that the dress will fit perfectly and the girls will look great.
My dear girl, don''t apologize for being nervous; there''s no way you''re a spaz!! You''re an anxious bride-to-be, and all of this is "par for the course". At least you don''t have huge fights going on with your families and MOH (I hope).
I''m glad to hear that Grandpa and you are feeling better, but sorry that John isn''t. What can we do to perk that boy up?
If worse comes to worst, try putting a Magic Bag or a couple of bags of frozen peas on the girls if they haven''t co-operated by the end of the week.
In the meantime, ((((BIG HUGS)))).
Third time is the charm; this time it''s going to happen for all the right reasons!!
cut out salt and stay hydrated, you will be so gorgeous!
All of this planning and effort is finally coming to fruition and your dear man will be your husband!
to stalker kitty!
sleeeeeeep, you neeeeeeed sleeeeeeeep!
Hi bee*. carbs have been a weakness admittedly. But one week to go I can cut them. I didn''t try on the dress, and now its at mom''s so I won''t be trying it on again till the wedding day. Here''s hoping it fits the girls. LOL. Thank you honey for the advice and support.
Thank you so much Isabel, I know it will happen, and it will go okay. I do. Everyone except John is improving, honestly if I could just get a little dust for John-- that he kicks this thing that''s got him down forever, I would appreciate it heaps. I''m getting better. Still really weak, weazy, coughing a lot. But the fever stayed gone. Thank you for the big hugs! Right back at you! You are a great friend Isabel.
Swimmer. Cut out salt. Got it. Stalker Kitty waves back at you! And I did nap today and I''ll try to get more rest.
Dust for John, dust for John....Gypsy, you''re getting MARRIED! Forget everything else floating around bothering you, from dresses to stray kitties, you''re going to finally be married and it''s going to be magical, special, beuatiful, and life altering (in a good way) whether your gilrs are restrained or not, and if not just chalk it up to them showing their own version of exuberane. HOORAY!
Gypsy, I am sending Tons and Tons of special get well dust for your precious John. You are getting married my friend. Your special day is coming up. I know it will be glorious and you will be a beautiful bride.
hahaha, their own form of exuberance--that''s hilarious! hey, if nothing else, john will have something to gawk at during the vows, so all''s well that ends well, right?
*Snort* you guys are the best. Unrestrained exuberance indeed. He would be too polite to gawk... okay NOT. LOL.
I hope the PS dust will work it''s magic and heals John soon.
Thank you my good friends for the enthusiasm. I don''t have much of my own right now, so I''m gonna just coast on yours. We are getting married!!! That is after all the point.
Gypsy I tried to send you Lorelei's ( I think ) very spesh fairy dust image but it didn't work.
I use the old fashioned positive vibes for you John and your family.
Take care
Thank you Freke. Yes, I admitedly could use a hug. I appreciate you giving me one very much! ((HUGS))
THANK YOU KATEBAR! I love the throwing kiss emotie, I don't think I've seen that one before! I love that fairy emotie, I know exactly what you are talking about, thank you for trying to get it to work for me. ((HUGS))
katebar-- I haven't seen that one before! You've got a beat on some unique emoties, haven't you???
I love it, PS dust being POURED out of a bag! Awesome. You are too sweet to go hunting up emoties for me. Just so you know, there is a BIG smile on my face. Thank you very much!!!
Sending dust for John, and for you too! Don''t worry about being a spaz - if you can''t do that here, where the heck can you? Especially when your FI is out of commission.
Don''t assume you''re all better - tell everyone you still have a fever and get as much rest as you can. That way you''ll be right as rain for the wedding. (And you can hold John up if he passes out.
Thank you bee*! He's at the doctor now so I'm hoping he's better soon!
He's also going to be taking Stalker Kitty to the vet today. Get her checked out and everything. We're not happy with her being outside. Hopefully she'll be FIV/FelinE Leukemia free, already fixed (and therefore not preggers) and young (easier to get her adopted). Here's hoping.
I''m late to the thread but just wanted to send dust and well wishes your way! Everything will work out - even the little huccups are part of the fun! ((HUGS))
Hello Everyone. Promised I''d update so... here it is. John''s got something that''s going to take a little longer to work out. I''m not comfortable talking about it other than to say his recovery is probably going to take a few months and require some long term care. He''ll be okay for Sunday we think, but the next few months are going to be a little difficult for us. It''s not the way I would have wished to start off our married life. But I''ll take him any way I can get him. And hopefully he''ll be healthy soon enough.
Awww, thank you Linda, I hope he''s okay too. I gave him you good wishes and he said thank you. Our love back to you and DH. xoxoxoxo
Thank you so much swimmer, all that positive energy and all those positive thoughts always work wonders, and I know that they will this time too. ((HUGS)) xoxoxoxo
THANK YOU Miracles! That''s one giant hug! I hope the day helps him as well. Helps us all. (((HUGE HUG RIGHT BACK AT YOU)))
Hey Gypsy, I''m so sorry to hear about all of your stresses right before your wedding
Big (( hugs )) from me! Please give John my best, I hope he feels better this weekend. I want to wish you all the luck in the world this weekend and lots of fairy dust for an amazing wedding. You are going to look beautfiul, I just know it!
I can''t wait to see pics when you return.
On a side note, did you guys move to the North Bay yet? How is it up there? My husband and I are moving back to the south bay, yay! I''m really looking forward to that. We definitely need to do another GTG this fall/winter, it would be great to see all of our ps friends again!
Take care, and most importantly enjoy ever minute of your wedding this weekend. I know it''s cliche but that day really does go by so fast, try to take just a few minutes a couple of times that day to stop, look around, and take it all in.
