My first Pearl Paradise purchase. I ordered a size smaller but they didn't have them so they sent me the next size up. Very generous!
I love the roundness and the smooth surface - no markings. The luster is good, but I don't find it as akoya-like as some have said. It doesn't have the sharpness of my 7mm akoyas. It reminds me more of the satiny south sea pearls, not that I have any of those but I've seen them.
I think these pearls are amazing for the price - real good quality and a great size. Very Jackie O. They are satiny, not really akoya glossy, but they were about a tenth of the price of the akoyas!
