I got some helpful input earlier but am posting again as I didn't ask enough questions.

There is no cert, but here are the numbers I have.

Weight: 1.36 Color: K Clarity: VS1 Measure: 7.03*7.00*4.64 Cert: N/A
Depth: 66.1 Table: 42 Polish: Good Symetry: Good Girdle: tn Flourescence: None Culet: Small

Which info would you want before considering a purchase? Still photos, etc.?

I know that I may have to purchase and return before finding a great old cut, but I'd like to avoid that as much as possible.

I agree with DS that it has potential. A 42% table sounds awesome. However, it's hard to say anything definitely -- there is a chance you'll have to buy and return. Or, if you really want to avoid that, you could travel to NYC and see a bunch of stones in person. Or go through GOG and pay a little extra for their technological analysis, expert feedback, and excellent customer service. That could source a great OEC for you, I'm sure.

G, maybe what I should do is go with this diamond. If that doesn't work out, consider GOG.
