I''ve been on pricescope all day. I''m having trouble finding an ideal princess in the .75 area. I will go anywhere from .7 to .8 carat. G or above, VS1 or above. I just want something that will flash like crazy for $3500 or less (diamond only). I also prefer girdles between thin-med to med-slthk.

I found these so far:

I also think this one looks like it could be nice:

I found one on abazias a couple days ago but it''s gone. Darnit.

It''s been a looong time since I''ve recommended Excel Diamonds (SuperbCert) but I don''t their quality has declined. This is within your price range, and a bit larger, but it''s a lower color: an I. However, they claim it faces up white (I guess you''ll have to call them) and the data and images look really nice:

The the IS image of the first stone looks nice. I couldn''t open the image for the second stone.

Hest88 selected an excellent performing princess. However, I personally am not a big fan of round tables on princess cuts; I just don''t like the way it looks. I also like the look of the larger tables between 69-74. But these are all my personal subjective preferences.

Here is another princess

how about this one from GoodOldGold

Completely agree. I personally prefer the square table on a princess as well. Totally subjective though--it should perform beautifully.

VS2 should be just as good - if your only concern is not ever seeing inclusions down there, rather than some more esoteric concept.

With the G or higher part I would agree any day, although color shows more the larger the stone is - so under 1 ct, there is more leeway in this department too.

Best of luck
