7 months in the making!

back in august i was browsing through an awesome website when i spotted a set of stones so unique and beautiful that i pounced! they stole my heart and i knew i had to have them!

they are a teeny little lot, the center weighing .39cts and the sides totaling .24cts. the color is what got me, fancy greyish yellow green and fancy brownish pinks.

i wasn''t quite sure of what to expect when i saw them in person but i fell in love right away! this is one of my own photos...

the center diamond has quite a bit of a booger but IRL it is colored and not very noticeable, another thing i love about colored diamonds!

i came up with an idea, based off of a leon setting, and contacted him. the setting wasn't do able and neither was my budget for leon. i re-grouped, came up with a new design, and contacted whiteflash; who i have worked with before.

they gave me a number i could live with and i started saving my pennies. along the next two months i tweaked me design and i decided to base it off of their three stone trellis design. this is what i came up with...

i decided to add two asschers to make it a five-stone ring. the center diamond is a very elongated emerald cut, the two pinks are a little closer to square, and finally the two white square asschers on the end. the ring is very delicate, about 3.5 mm at its widest tapering to about 2mm.

talk about imagination coming to life!!!!

well, after all of that, the ring was completed yesterday and shipped out today. it comes tomorrow and i have the final pro pics to share!

hopefully i''ll have hand shots tomorrow.

i have dubbed the ring my "watermelon" ring, waddya think?
