Hi all,
I have my great grandma's OEC diamond, a 0.75. It was re-worked into an engagement ring for me about 22 years ago with 2 half carets on either side and then 2 .25carets flanking it; however, I am looking to change it up as a RHR, back to a solitaire since I'm newly divorced
. It was originally in a thin band with 4 prongs. I am wondering if there are examples of 4 vs 6 prong for this cut. I'm an old PS forum gal, I'll try to find a pic of my e-ring that I posted here way back when, just can't remember my old log-in info so had to recreate an account. Leaning towards a 6 prong but I'd love to see some comparisons for this cut/size. I also have enough small diamonds to do a halo/pave partial band like a pretty scroll detail on the side of the prongs. I want it to look antique! TY in advance for any thoughts!
